Great Chalks Hatfield Broad Oak | Renovation of the 1838 Rectory. We undertook a comprehensive renovation of this historic property transforming it into two houses. Great Chalks had a total of 9 bedrooms over three floors and more than four acres of grounds. It is and always will be one of the areas most prominent homes. Great Chalks is historically linked to Trinity College, Cambridge where it served as a rectory for the priest for the education of students.
Our team fully restored the iconic Victorian property, dividing it into two semi-detached homes. One featuring three bedrooms and the other four bedrooms. The renovation beautifully blends contemporary features with classic finishes.
House 1 – The three bedroom property spans 2,282 sq.ft and includes three double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, a magnificent sitting room with an open fireplace, an impressive entrance hall, dining/garden room and luxurious kitchen. Additional features include column radiators, an 80 foot south facing garden and three allocated parking bays.
House 2 – The four bedroom property encompasses 2,970 sq.ft and offers a spacious layout with many outstanding features. Both homes were sold a few years ago, with the accompanying images provided by the selling agent.
